I work at the Multicultural Affairs Office at Columbia. They asked me to create a mark to be used for various materials and merchandise to celebrate the LGBT History Month.
I created the graphic as a mark for ones social standing. I felt it was appropriate to evoke a more political persona with the current presidential elections. I also reeeeeaaaaaaalllly wanted to use the identity of the rainbow beyond a gradient (because it kills me…)
Hey Everyone! This fall I’m hoping to complete a letterpress print series called Two Truths and a Lie, in which I collect anonymous submissions and print these statements without any indication of which is which, leaving it up to the viewer to come to their own conclusions.

Here’s a snapshot of my work in progress for a new(ish) project I’ve been working on for the first ever Veggie Pride Parade to be held in Chicago. Promotional materials include posters to be hung up around the city and post-card handouts. Pretty excited! Also: Yay veggies!

Finished version of art student owl illust, worked on while my building had a fire on the 7th floor. I was safe, it was quite a thing to observe though. Don’t set your apartment on fire, kids!

This is a collab between 102 and A2crew. Jeremy created the illustration based on the idea that stickers and wheatpasting are in the legal gray area. In Spain the brain is also referred to as “gray mass”, because our brain is supposedly gray. A2crew screen printed these black & white stickers, which are already around Chicago.
Inspired by F* Yeah Art Student Owl, I felt like doing something to get back into my style. Working with marker lineart and Photoshop colors.

The Sketchbook Project 2012, before I sent it off to the Brooklyn Art Library to join the world tour. I made my entry a printed booklet of January sketches, 16 pages saddle-stitched (stapled). If you want to join the next round, check it out on the Art House Co-op’s website.
